Focus on photographers at the fair

‘Selections’ is the apt title this American photographer and member of Magnum Photos has chosen for a selection of photos of the urban space, a subject that he has been exploring for the last forty or so years. This expert in street scenes is also a master of colour photography: his saturated compositions successfully convey the intrinsic effervescence of urban atmospheres, which is particularly noticeable in his images of Latin America. This summer, the Botanique in Brussels is holding a major retrospective of Alex Webb’s work.
