The multidisciplinary Saudi Arabian artist Faisal Samra mainly works in photography and performance art. Thanks to the mise-en-scene of his images, he can ignore taboos and question traditional representations of the face and body. His models, their faces masked with cloth, are impossible to identify and, in spite of a rough form of narrative, the spectators are left free to make of them what they will.
