Délio Jasse was born in 1980 in Angola. He now lives in Lisbon. In addition to his research into old printing techniques such as the cyanotype and platinum prints, he also develops his own printing processes. By juxtaposing different generations and cultures, he is trying to reforge links between fragments of memory. It is this idea that underlies his work on urban planning in Luanda, where the new town coexists alongside the Portuguese colonial architecture.
