Each year, Art Basel Hong Kong presents international artists represented by the most prominent galleries worldwide. Different sectors are dedicated to specific projects. In 2015, Insights presents 34 curatorial projects exclusively involving artists from Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. 20 leading artists from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, United Kingdom and the United States show large-scale sculptural installations in Encounters. This year, this sector is for the first time curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor, Executive Director of Artspace, an important contemporary art institution in Sydney, Australia. Discoveries is another platform where 20 young galleries present solo and two-person exhibitions of emerging artists.

For Art Basel Hong Kong, as well as for Art Basel in June and Art Basel Miami Beach in December, Le Quotidien de l'Art - The Art Daily News publishes its “Art Basel Artists Guide” focusing on a selection of artists and their works exhibited in these sectors. Critics review their artworks in our pages and present a vision of the art scene showcased at Art Basel Hong Kong.
